About The artist

Helen  is an award winning full-time resident of Southwest Florida, having moved here in 2018 from Illinois. Helen is enjoying the weather and further exploring the many artistic opportunities. 

Helen retired as a High School IT Director with formal training in Computer Programming, Network Management, Business Management and Educational Technology. Art was a great way to destress from work and has now become her passion. Her artistic techniques are mostly self-taught, but she enjoys developing her skills by learning from other.  Helen often uses her technical background to plan, design, and develop each piece.  

         Her works can be found at various Southwest Florida Galleries, Keiser University in Fort Myers, and Wallace Family Practice in Fort Myers

She also does commissions in Acrylic, Graphite, Oil, or Watercolor.
